We are looking for an experienced Profile Roll Forming Machine Setter for an established automotive manufacturing partner with a stable, established company. This position requires a professional skilled in metalworking, the ability to read technical drawings, and precise, responsible work with long-term potential.
Tasks
- Setting up and operating profile roll forming machines according to technological specifications
- Precise adjustment of rollers, tools, and stations to ensure the correct profile and dimensional tolerances
- Performing material feeding, roller gap adjustment, and production line setup
- Executing tool changes and carrying out basic maintenance tasks
- Identifying tool wear and equipment faults, and reporting them to the maintenance department
- Confident use of measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, gauges, tape measure, profile gauge)
- Monitoring and optimization of production processes
- Reducing scrap rate and increasing productivity
- Liaising with maintenance, quality control, production departments, and the process engineer

Requirements
- Relevant education (in mechanical engineering, metalworking, mechatronics, or tool setting)
- Experience in setting up roll forming, stamping, or other metalworking machines
- Precise use of measuring tools
- Independent, accurate, and responsible work ethic
- Willingness to work in a multi-shift schedule
- Basic English or German language skills for understanding technical documentation (an advantage)
- Crane and forklift operator license (an advantage)
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge (an advantage)
- Problem-solving skills (an advantage)
