Robot Maintenance Technician

Tasks

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, etc.) and robotic cells
• Troubleshooting PLC controls, HMIs, frequency converters, servo drives, and safety systems
• Executing and documenting planned preventive maintenance (TPM, PM)
• Robot calibration, creating backups, saving and restoring programs
• Checking sensors, camera systems, welding controllers, pneumatic and electromechanical units
• Inspecting electrical cabinets, repairing wiring faults, and replacing components
• Supporting machine modifications, improvements, and the commissioning of new equipment
• Preparing failure analyses and developing long-term solutions
• Documenting maintenance work in the CMMS/Infor LN system
• Cooperation with production, quality assurance, technology, and external service partners
• Strict adherence to occupational health and safety, electrical safety, and LOTO regulations

Conditions & benefits

Requirements

• Secondary vocational education in electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills (Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, or similar)
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Experience with robot controllers is an advantage
• User-level knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software
